The Primary Teaching Resources online store has been designed to allow you to shop from your desktop using your credit or debit card.

Resources purchased are available via instant download directly from the website. The advantage of this is that you can use the downloaded resources indefinitely.

Please note that, in order to keep prices to a minimum, Primary Teaching Resources does not send resources by post.

How to create an account

When you visit Primary Teaching Resources for the first time, please register to create a free account. The registration facility is located on the right-hand side of the screen underneath the Login section.

When you have registered your user information you will receive email notification of your Login details. Please follow the link provided in the confirmation email to access the site and enter your Login details.

Registration of an account is usually immediate, however please allow up to 48 hours.

You may change your Login details at any time by visiting the ‘My Account' link on the left.

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you do not receive email confirmation of your user details following registration, please check that your email settings as it is likely that the message has been blocked. If further assistance is required, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How to order

Our online catalogue is very easy to use, simply click one of the categories on the left under ‘Teaching Resources’ to begin.

As you browse the site, use the ‘Add to Cart’ button to place items in your shopping basket.

When you have finished, select ‘Checkout’ and you will be redirected to the PayPal website where you can complete your transaction.

When the transaction is complete you will receive email notification and an option to return to Primary Teaching Resources where you can view your details and instantly download your files.

Methods of payment

We currently accept credit and debit card payments by PayPal.

If you do not have a PayPal account you can create one free by visiting http://www.paypal.com/

All payments to Primary Teaching Resources are processed via PayPal so it is impossible for anyone to intercept and use your details.

All resources are delivered via instant download to your registered email address. Download details will be included in the confirmation email received following transaction.

Alternatively, please login and enter the ‘Account Maintenance' section of the website to view your completed transaction(s) and click on the name of the resource(s) to download.

Your resource(s) will be available for download for a period of 21 days from the transaction date.

You may download the resource(s) a maximum of 5 times during this time period.

After 21 days from the transaction date the download will expire.

File formats

Most of our resources are supplied in Adobe PDF format, although a selection are in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. The format of each resource file is denoted within the resource details in the online shop.

PDF files are Portable Document Format files. They are a file format developed by Adobe that allow printed documents to be read by a large number of different types of computers and devices. To read PDF files you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader (or the equivalent for your machine) installed. You can download the program for free on Adobe's website: http://www.adobe.com/

Please try to ensure that you are using a current version of Adobe Reader as older versions may present problems when viewing and printing resources.

Word (.doc) files are documents that have been created using Microsoft Word. If you do not have Microsoft Word many other word processors open Word documents. Alternatively you can download the free Word viewer from Microsoft Office Online (search for Word Viewer).

Some resources contain more than one file and are ‘zipped’ into a folder. Later versions of Windows will unzip the files automatically, however, depending on your installed software, it may be necessary to download ‘Winzip’ to unzip the files. This utility is available from http://www.winzip.com/

IMPORTANT NOTE

Primary Teaching Resources can not be held responsible for customers' misconfigured email accounts and/or non-delivery due to filter settings. If you do not receive email confirmation of payment or cannot download resources the most likely cause is that the message has been filtered by your email software and that your email settings need to be amended. If in doubt, contact your ISP.

There are a number of free resources available on the website. To download these, please login to your account and click on the ‘Free Resources’ link at the top of the homepage.
